Knowledge Value Project!

I started by cutting out 7 inch squares.
Each layer took 36 squares.




I sandwiched the top, middle and bottom layers of flannel.



Mom and I organized the squares until they looked just right.



After I sewed the blocks together (with some more help from Mom) it was time to cut the edges so they would fray when we washed it.




Here it is. We also made a burp cloth to make up the 10 hours I needed to spend on this Value Project.


I plan on giving this quilt to one of my Young Women's leaders. She is expecting a baby in November.

My New Creation

Awhile ago i made sierra mist with some lime juice and a slice of lemon on the side. It was mighty tasty!







Today i decided to make a smoothie with stuff we had at the house.
this is what i added:
milk
lemon flavored yogurt
sugar
mixed berries
vanilla
ice







It turned out quite well with a variety of flavors. It was Deeelicous!

My Summer Goals

1. I want to get a really nice tan.

2. I am going to learn how to make a drink called Fruit Freeze.

3. Go on a nice vacation with my family.

4. Go running every morning with my friends Ashley and Kelsie.

5. Last of all keep my room clean everyday and that includes my bed being made every morning.
